Synopsis For Lower Atchafalaya To High Island Tx Out 60 Nm Strong northerly winds in the wake of a cold front will continue into Friday morning before diminishing as high pressure builds over the region. An upper-level disturbance crossing the coastal waters Friday night could produce a few showers...otherwise dry weather is expected through the weekend. Southerly winds will return on Sunday then increase to moderate levels by Monday as low pressure develops over the Southern Plains. This storm system will pull a strong cold front across the waters on Tuesday.
